The Shakespeare Revue Company presents a sparkling evening of music and comedy celebrating the Bard’s 400th Anniversary. All funds raised from this event are going to the David Adams Leukaemia Appeal Fund (DALAF), who are aiming to raise £200,0oo to support the building of a new haemato-oncology unit at the Royal Marsden Hospital, in Sutton.
An Actor’s Life for Me is a fast-paced, glamorous and hilarious evening of song, dance, sketches and Broadway showstoppers celebrating ‘Life Under the Wicket Stage’. This fabulously entertaining mix of music and comedy features a cast of stars from the West End, ENO, RSC – even The Archers! The show features brand new sketches and comedy songs plus a host of classic numbers about the theatre from the pens of Noel Coward, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Kander & Ebb, Jerome kern, Tom Lehrer, Johann Strauss II, Oscar Hammerstein, Julie Styne and Stephen Sondheim.
