After sellout shows of King Arthur in November, Richmond Opera are returning to Normansfield Theatre with the Dragon of Wantley.
Wantley village near Sheffield is terrorised a child-gobbling dragon, and local hero Moore of Moorehall is entreated to put his drinking and womanising aside to take matters in hand. His methods are unorthodox to say the least…
This delightful Handel pastiche is a pantomime romp, accompanied by Baroque orchestra and fully stages in our Victorian-era Normansfield Theatre.
