Marble Hill Singers will be returning to Normansfield Theatre on 22nd June 2013 for a concert in aid of the Down’s Syndrome Association.
Marble Hill Singers are a SW London-based Chamber Choir formed in 1989. Many of the members also sing with the Twickenham Choral Society.
The choir performs regularly at St Mary’s, Twickenham, and has given numerous concerts in Twickenham and the locality. It has also performed in London at the Royal Naval College Chapel Greenwich, five times for the Diocese in Europe Diocesan Synod and at Lambeth Palace at the invitation of the Archbishop of Canterbury. It has given concerts elsewhere in the UK including Oxford, Haslemere, Wilton, and sung for services at Southwell Minster (two weekend residencies), St Mary Redcliffe and Pershore Abbey.
The Marble Hill Singers have made nine critically acclaimed overseas concert tours to Holland, Paris, Madrid, Antwerp, Rome, Gibraltar, Beaulieu-sur-mer, Nice, Copenhagen and most recently Vienna where the choir gave a concert in Christ Church and sang the noon mass in St Stephen’s Cathedral.
