Venue Hire

Accessibility

We welcome anyone with accessibility requirements and will endeavour to accommodate any needs you may have. Please get in touch prior to your visit if you have specific requirements so we can make sure the necessary arrangements are made.

Parking

There is limited parking available at Normansfield Theatre. Additional parking is available on Kingston Road, Holmesdale Road and Normasfield Avenue which are all a short walk from the Theatre.

How do I get to your venue via public transport?

Bus: 281 or 285 route stop right outside.
Overground: Hampton Wick Station is a seven minute walk from our venue.

Is there bike parking available?

Bike parking is available within our grounds. Bikes are left at owners’ risk.

Is there a cloakroom?

We do not have cloakroom facitlities at our venue.

Do you have a bar?

For evening performances we run a bar selling a selection of alcoholic and soft beverages. The bar is open one hour before curtain and during any intervals. The bar closes once intervals finish and is not open after an event.

Our bar is not open for matinee performances.

What payment options are available?

We accept both cash and card payments.

Can I bring food and drink into the venue?

No. You may not bring any food or drink into the venue. 

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building or the surrounding areas.

Booking Tickets

Tickets for all of our events can be purchased on our website or by calling 0333 1212300.

What if I want a refund?

Tickets can be refunded up to 24 hours before the performance date. You will receive a full refund minus booking fee.

What if an event is cancelled?

If a performance is cancelled due to Coronavirus restrictions it will be rescheduled and your tickets will be transferred over. In the event the performance cannot be rescheduled you will be given a full refund minus the booking fee.

Do you have reserved seating?

No. All events are unreserved seating.

Can I take photographs in the Theatre?

Our photo and video policy depends on the nature of the event. Generally you can bring non-professional cameras to most shows. We would discourage you from bringing iPads and selfie-sticks. If you have a specific query relating to photography please contact us prior to your visit.

Can I stay at the venue when the event finishes?

No. Due to our premise licence stipulations all ticket-holders must vacate the premises as soon as the event has finished. As our venue is located within a residential area we ask that all guests leave the venue quietly to respect our neighbours.

Lost items

Please email ldc@downs-syndrome.org.uk with a detailed description of the item and a location, date and approximate time you believe you lost the item. If found, we will coordinate a time for the collection of your item. Lost items are retained for a total of 14 days. If lost items are not collected during this time period they will be donated to local charities.

Event policies

We are committed to complying with any and all obligations under the Equality Act 2010. We reserve the right to refuse entry in order to protect our guests, staff, reputation and building.
